Specialized therapy that’s deeply personal.
Meet Briana Rogers, LPC, LMHC
Eating Disorder Therapist | Fairfield , CT & Old Greenwich, CT
Briana Rogers is a licensed therapist based in Fairfield and Old Greenwich Connecticut, specializing in eating disorder therapy, body-image concerns, and disordered eating recovery, including anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge-eating disorder (BED), orthorexia, and a variety of other eating disorders. With over a decade of experience across residential treatment programs, outpatient clinics, and integrative health settings, she brings a grounded, compassionate, and deeply informed perspective to her work.
Briana holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She is licensed in Connecticut and New York, and is a member of the American Counseling Association. She is also a proud member of the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and is currently a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) Candidate through IAEDP, a designation that reflects advanced training and commitment to excellence in eating-disorder care.
As a certified nutrition coach, Briana provides non-diet, weight-inclusive nutrition education that supports therapeutic healing. Her nutrition-coaching work is intentionally supportive and educational, not medical nutrition therapy or prescriptive meal planning. She collaborates closely with registered dietitians when clinically appropriate, ensuring truly integrated, whole-person care.
Briana’s therapeutic approach is shaped by her belief that recovery from eating disorders and body-image distress requires safety and respect for each client’s lived experience. Her own background in eating-disorder recovery informs the empathy and understanding she brings to her work, while keeping the client’s story and goals at the center of the therapeutic process. Briana draws from a trauma-focused len while integrating powerful evidence-based modalities tailored to your needs, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT).

From Briana…
I BUILT NATURALLY YOU COUNSELING & WELLNESS
Because I’ve been where you are.
Naturally You Counseling & Wellness was born from a deep desire to create a space where therapy feels authentic, with a therapist who understands what you’re going through.
Through my own lived experience with eating disorders, I can recall how isolating it felt to feel misunderstood by others, especially those in the mental health field. Although I worked with a few therapist who were kind and curious, I could tell there were gaps in their understanding of what I was really thinking or feeling as I explained my struggles. Searching for a therapist who really ‘got it’, but coming up short, sometimes made me feel even more misunderstood. After reaching recovery, I became passionate about building a therapy space where people felt truly seen in their challenges and had the right support to overcome them.
While my story is not the focus of your therapy, my lived experience gives me an inside perspective and understanding of the thoughts and behaviors that someone with an eating disorder is going through. There’s a unique value in personal understanding; something I knew I needed back then, but couldn’t find. Today, that’s what I strive to offer every person I work with.
What to Expect
YOUR JOURNEY, YOUR PACE
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s important to know what the process looks like. At Naturally You Counseling & Wellness, the journey is structured to ensure you feel supported, understood, and actively involved every step of the way.
Step 1: Free Consultation Call
The process begins with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This is a chance to briefly connect, discuss your needs, and determine if we’re the right fit for working together. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what you're looking for in therapy, and get a feel for the therapeutic approach before committing to a full session.
Step 2: Initial Assessment & Treatment Planning
If we decide to move forward, our first session will be a 60-minute initial assessment. During this session, we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and goals. This time is dedicated to gaining a deeper understanding of your experiences so we can collaboratively create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and values.
Step 3: Ongoing Therapy & Progress Monitoring
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. As we begin regular sessions, we’ll continuously assess your progress, revisit goals, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. This ensures that therapy remains relevant, effective, and aligned with your evolving needs. Together, we’ll work to build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and support meaningful growth along the way.
